About Me
Hi, I’m Ashley!
I’m a mum to two children, aged 17 months and 7 years old. We’re a home-educating family, and life is quite full-on as we also run our own business. I’m looking for someone who can become a genuine extension of our family someone caring, reliable, trustworthy and who really wants to become part of our family life.
We love spending time outdoors, getting out and about, keeping the children active and exploring. Reading is also a big part of our daily rhythm, and I’d love someone who enjoys playing, reading, engaging with the children and encouraging their curiosity.
I’m quite organised and appreciate someone who is proactive, patient and confident around children. It’s important to me that our nanny fits naturally into our family and routines and builds a genuine relationship with the children.
Family life and connection are really important to us. We have a family meet every Sunday for around 15–30 minutes, which is an essential part of our family rhythm and something our nanny would be expected to attend.
A full, clean driving licence and current First Aid training are essential for this role.
Most importantly, I’m looking for someone warm, kind, reliable and genuinely passionate about children someone who wants to feel like part of our family and grow alongside us.
My Requirements
The Role
I’m looking for someone to join us 2–3 days a week, with some flexibility around which days, as well as being available for occasional evenings and Saturdays for date nights (no obligation)
We’re ideally looking for someone who wants to become a consistent and valued part of our family. There is also the opportunity for this role to progress into a full-time position from June next year, so I’d love to find someone who is interested in building a long-term relationship with our family.
Consistency, reliability and a genuine connection with the children are really important to us.

We had the most amazing experience with Katie as our nanny, and to this day, we still talk about her and the wonderful time she spent with our daughter. She became such a special part of our family that my daughter still remembers her, talks about her and asks about her. That, to me, says everything about the kind of person Katie is.
From the moment she joined our family, Katie went above and beyond to settle in and really understand our daughter’s personality, interests and routine. She put so much thought into planning activities and making each day enjoyable, engaging and memorable. She was incredibly caring, patient and attentive, while also being meticulous and organised in everything she did.
As a professional family who run our own business, having someone we could completely trust with our daughter made such a huge difference to our lives. Katie was always punctual, reliable and conscientious, and we never had to worry about whether things were being taken care of. She gave us complete peace of mind and genuinely made our lives so much easier.
What I particularly loved about Katie was that she never just did the basics. She genuinely invested in our daughter and became someone she felt safe, happy and comfortable with. She brought so much warmth and positivity into our home, and it was clear that caring for our daughter was something she took real pride in.
Even now, I honestly pray that we’ll have the opportunity to have Katie back with us again one day. Finding someone who is trustworthy, caring, dependable and who forms such a genuine bond with your child is incredibly special. Katie was absolutely amazing, and we couldn’t recommend her highly enough.
