About Me

I work as a full-time nanny for a 7 month old baby. I am not currently looking for work.

I am a positive, happy and caring individual. I have always loved looking after and interacting with children. I am responsible and hard-working, and always put maximum effort into my tasks and responsibilities. People often describe how good I am at interacting with children, and this most likely stems from my background, as I grew up with lots of children due to my grandparents being foster parents. In my free time I volunteer at a Dog Rescue where I help rehabilitate abused and neglected dogs.
I am 24 years old.

My Experience

I am a caring, fun and responsible person, who encourages children to use their imagination and allows the children to lead with their play.

I started babysitting from age 16- I am now 23. Additionally, my grandparents were foster carers for young babies and children and therefore I helped a lot with their care. This has provided me with a good base knowledge of looking after children from a very young age.

I decided to start professionally babysitting and nannying in 2020 when I started university. My first role was looking after two boys, ages 1&3 twice per week. I would take them to nursery and occasionally pick them up.

From this, I worked for a family who mainly lived in London, however spent weekends at their summer house. I worked with the family for six months, on mainly Saturdays, but sometimes other days. The children were 1, 3, and 6 and the role was mainly sole charge.

Alongside this role, I worked as a night nanny three times per week. The baby was six weeks when I started and had severe acid reflux. I assisted with sleep training.

After these roles, I then began working for a family who needed a nanny three days per week. The baby was six months old and they needed help until he was one year. This role was mainly sole charge and I assisted with nap times and weaning.

When I moved to London, I began working for a family with a 4 week old baby. I looked after her three times per week for 6 months. I then did a month of nannying for her over the following summer.

In January 2022, I began working for a family with a 5 month old baby. I have worked for them since, and have travelled with them in the U.K and abroad.

Alongside all of these roles, but especially since moving to London, I have babysat on an adhoc basis for many families on a regular basis. I mainly look after babies and toddlers, and many of the roles have been for newborn babies. I have regular families who I babysit for and are happy to provide references.

I am able to provide excellent references for the families I have worked for.

I now work as a full time nanny for one 7 month old baby.

We employed Courtney to help us care for our newborn son. Our son suffered with severe reflux as a young baby which made him uncomfortable much of the time, he was so uncomfortable that sleep was a real struggle and we required some overnight help!

Courtney was very reliable and professional, with good communication from the start. She demonstrated a caring and can-do approach to the job, and I could tell that she genuinely cared about our son. During the times she looked after him we never heard any crying (very impressive given he is a young baby with painful reflux!). This added to our confidence that he was being cared for by someone with experience and skill in looking after children. As everything went so well, we have also gone on to make future bookings with Courtney.

I would recommend Courtney to any other parents as a kind, reliable and easy to work with nanny.

Courtney joined our family almost 8 weeks ago when I brought my new bundle of joy home! I contacted Courtney for an extra set of hands for my newborn and toddler (21 months old). I was a new mom recovering from a c section and needed lots of flexibility and help, especially with a fragile newborn. And this was all over the festive period!

Not only did Courtney come to the rescue, she was super flexible even over the festive period to accommodate my needs, she was excellent with the newborn, she was willing to do absolutely everything needed with a smile, and won over the heart of my very anxious toddler all in the first few days!

Courtney has a lovely way with kids, she's absolutely pleasant, punctual, reliable, and very easy to work with.

I would absolutely recommend her for anything you need childcare related. She's excellent with both my kids, and is infact still a part of our family now even though this was meant to be short term.

Thanks Courtney for everything!
