About Us

Ladybugs and Slugs Forest School is a unique childcare setting situated within the gardens of Davenport Methodist Church, Congleton. Set in the beautiful Cheshire East countryside and adjoining Brereton Heath Nature Reserve, we provide a range of groups and sessions. We are outside all year round with access to a snug and comfortable undercover area, should children want to rest or get a warm on chilly winter days. Using the Scandinavian Forest School approach to deliver a variety of sessions allowing the children time and space to develop skills and interests through hands-on experiences in a natural environment. We provide a nurturing, holistic approach, working with the children in a very gentle and compassionate way, with bags of fun and creativity thrown in.
