About Me

I am a kind, focused, respectful, open minded, organised, hardworking, reliable, friendly, calm, fun and adventurous individual.

I love nature, animals, coffee, travelling, exercise, sight seeing, healthy food, football, reading, different cultures and plants. I am happiest when I am outdoors!

I am DBS checked and a non smoker. I am also vaccinated against Covid and learning how to drive.

My Experience

I have worked with children from birth to sixteen years old for twelve years now. This has involved being a room leader at two nurseries, babysitting work, Nanny work and being part of the play and activity team at Addenbrookes Hospital.

I have a wide range of experience in delivering excellent care and education to children and luckily I have gained the ability to do this effectively with children who are physically and mentally unwell. I am very passionate about leadership as I love role modelling to other childcare workers how to deliver excellent care and education to children.

I have experience of working with children with special educational needs, children with English as an additional language and children displaying challenging behaviour. I also have experience of cooking and housekeeping.

I am a firm believer in adults being emotionally responsive to children and children having the right to access play and activities which enhance their learning, development and mental well being. I am extremely interested in the Forest School approach for children’s education.

My favourite activities to do with children are arts and crafts, messy play, story time, music time, exploring nature and games.

My Qualifications

CACHE Level Three Diploma in Childcare and Education - Grade B
Foundation Degree in Early Years, Playwork and Education - Grade Merit
