Hi I’m Lauren. I currently live in Biddulph with my husband and lovely dog Nala. I have over 10 years of experience in child care varying from being a nanny for multiple lovely families and being a baby room manager and toddler manager in a OFSTED outstanding nursery.
My previous experience includes being a manager for the baby room, a manager for the toddler room and being a nanny for 2 lovely children (ages 6 months-3 years). My experience also includes nannying for twins and for 6 months +
I have enjoyed running a successful early years play group for over a year while I lived in Devon.
I focus on creating a fun, safe, and nurturing environment where children can feel confident, curious, and cared for. I love being outside in nature, going for lovely walks and planning lots of fun, creative activities.
I love incorporating music and singing into my daily care, as it's a wonderful way to support babies' and young children's development. Singing and signing (Makaton) helps build early language skills, encourages bonding, and supports emotional and brain development. I often use music to create calm, joyful moments and to make routines like naptime or playtime even more engaging. Whether it’s a lullaby or a fun action song, I find music brings out smiles and helps little ones grow with confidence.
I enjoy attending local playgroups and social meetups with little ones to help them build confidence and social skills.
I’m DBS-checked / First Aid trained / previously Ofsted registered. I'm reliable, and fully committed to providing consistent and thoughtful care.

My Experience
I have been working in childcare for 10 plus years now. I have experience in being the manager for the baby room and also the 2 year olds. I also enjoyed being a nanny for 2 lovely children, until they reached school/nursery age and I have experience caring for twins and ages 6+ months ?

- NVQ Level 3 Child Care
- Level 1 in BSL
- Level 2 in Makaton
- Level 2 Safeguarding
- First Aid Trained
- Room Leader of the baby Room
- Manager of toddler room (ages 2-3)
My Availability
I’m looking for a nanny role for Tuesday and Wednesday, to start in September

- Babysitting from £17.00 per hour
- Nannying from £17.00 per hour (gross)

Lauren looks after my twin girls impeccably.
As a working mum she has made my life so much easier and taken the stress out of childcare.
She is on time, polite, and respectful of our house but more importantly the girls love her. She is calm, engaging and lots of fun. The girls always look forward to their days with her and they have learnt so much since she started in November 2025. I trust her to keep them safe and happy and teach them all the necessary skills they need.

Lauren has been working for me for 16 months and has been such a great presence in our lives. She has been caring for my children since one was 5 months and the other was 2yrs 10 months old. I have found her very competent and I never have a moment's worry about the safety of my children with her. Lauren is absolutely reliable, always precisely on time, full of energy and fun. She has a lovely manner, calm, gentle, friendly and polite. She loves taking the children for days out and helps them make friends to play with. Lauren is very robust and undaunted by bad weather - she is always suitably dressed and makes sure the children are as well, and then heads out for fresh air and exercise. She likes to plan fun activities and is very organised. I would absolutely recommend her as someone your kids will have fun with and learn great manners and social skills from.
