My Experience

For over a year I have been working as a Nursery assistant, where I have gain a lot experience dealing with children (0-5) daily needs, including: supervising/planning children play time and meals, engaging with children in learning, and maintaining a high standard in childcare, supervision and education. As a Biomedical scientist and Functional Nutritionist, I have a high understanding of the importance of diet and body development, especially related to children with food intolerance and food allergies. I am well prepared to prevent accidents during mealtime and daily routine, and in how to deal with it in case something happens. Not forgetting the importance of good communication with parents. I am also a Portuguese tutor, thus I would be happy to assist Portuguese speakers’ family, to keep the parent’s native language fluent, and helping the child to develop his/hers second language.

My Qualifications

I'm a Functional Nutritionist, I also have a Masters degree on Microbiology and a bachelor in Biomedical science
