My Experience

I have had such a variety of jobs which I have loved and enjoyed widening my skill set in each setting. I have worked as a nanny, special needs carer, at playschemes for children with autism, in schools as a teaching assistant secondary and primary, for a charity delivering interactive programmes in schools in alcohol and drug education, in youth work, as a family support worker in child protection, out of school clubs, and also in nurseries. I was an assistant leader at squirrel scouts (4-6 year olds) and beavers (6-8) for several years. I also have 2 boys of my own aged 5 and 9. The eldest is neurodiverse and possibly my youngest so I have lots of experience of this!

With my own children I’ve attended many playgroups, fun activities such as swimming and visiting farms or soft play centres, exploring forests, attending forest school sessions, local parks, and also enjoyed many fun activities and following their interests at home.

I have worked with children aged newborn to 16 and have worked since I was 16 with children and families so I now have over 20 years experience. I am hardworking, flexible, reliable and ready to support families in what they need.

My Qualifications

BTEC National Diploma in Early Years level 3, distinction

BA Hons degree in Early Childhood Studies 2.1

Full 12 hour paediatric first aid certificate

My Availability

Please do message me and I will let you know my current availability. Occasional babysitting in evenings I can also do. I am not able to offer before or after school care on a regular basis.

I am working for several families currently. Some regular, some ad hoc, some weekends, some holidays and some term time only.

I also work in a primary school Mondays and Tuesdays.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £18.00 per hour
• Nannying from £18.00 per hour (gross)

I am self employed so this will save you the cost and responsibility of employing someone.

This will vary depending on the amount of children, additional needs, and time of day, and amount of hours booked.

Standard hours/days prices start at £18. £20ph for bookings less than 4 hours.

Night time- £90 set fee between 9.30pm-6.30am plus my hourly rate every time child wakes up.

Mileage to be paid in addition if I need to use my car (business insured and clean license) within the working hours at 45p per mile. Expenses such as activity resources and playgroup entries are to be paid in addition to the hourly rate.
