Hi
My name is Jenny (Jennytots childminding services) I have been an Ofsted registered childminder since January 2019 - ofsted graded good in July 2021
Before setting up my childminding business, I started working as a pre-school assistant within a local pre-school, then promoted to a Deputy Manager role.
Whilst your little one is having fun, exploring and making friends here at Jennytots I will work together in partnership with parents/carers to guide and support each individual child, helping them grow, develop their independence and everyday life skills.
I attend playgroups, trips to the library, walks to the park and do lots of home activities.
I have a large outdoor play area with different toys for all ages, which is fenced off for safety and privacy.
During your child’s time here at Jennytots your child will be given a personal photo memory book, this will be used by us to record your child’s individual achievements and assessments as they learn and develop through play in accordance with the Early years foundation stage requirements. (EYFS)
I am based in Kirkby in Ashfield just off the A38

My Experience
I have been working within the childcare profession since 2010, after having my own two children I decided that caring for little ones, helping them grow and develop their life skills was the job I wanted to pursue.
I have previously worked for a few local pre-school settings as a preschool assistant, along with being promoted to a Deputy Manager position. This gave me further experience to help pursue the next step in my career, registering as a local childminder in 2019.

Jenny has been collecting my son from school since he started F2. He has enjoyed his time with her and she has always ensured he has a safe and welcoming environment. The other children there always seem happy and there are lots of activities to keep them busy. She has always had a smile whilst taking each child's likes and needs seriously. Her setting has always been clean and since the pandemic it has also been covid secure - I've had no concerns about my son being there at this scary time as I know he will be safe and happy.
