About Me
A tiney home providing wraparound care for children in the Lewes area, close to playparks & walks on the South Downs. I have a garden, lots of toys, & two children who are 8 and 4. My 8 year old is Home Educated, so I'm available during the day as well as during breakfast & after school hours. We spend lots of time outdoors, & I'm a big fan of hands on learning! I'm also a musician with many years experience in the arts. I live close to South Malling school so can drop off & pick up from there. I will not be using my car as part of my childminding activities. My services are for school age children 5+.
My Experience
This is my first job as a childminder. Before this role I worked in the care sector for many years, looking after elderly and intermediate care patients. I am also a very experienced musician and have made music/ performed in theatre publicly for many years. I speak German as I'm half Austrian.
My Qualifications
I registered with Tiney, a Childminding agency, recently.
I am DBS checked and verified, and so is my husband, who also works from our house.
I am pediatric first aid trained, and have been trained by Tiney in Safeguarding, Food Hygiene, FGM and Duty to prevent.
My Availability
I am available for both wraparound care and school pickups from south Malling school in Lewes, as well as daytime care for any home educated children. Please get in touch for more information. I don't work Thursdays.
My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
I charge £6 per hour, or a day rate of £40. Please get in touch for more information.
