About Me

Hi..I'm Erica, a newly registered childminder and I run the Bearhugs home nursery in Willesborough, Ashford.
I live in a smoke and pet-free home and my two children, aged 8 and 2 inspired my home nursery. When I am not childminding, I work as a Practice Nurse.

My Experience

Although I'm a newly registered childminder, I have 8 years of experience as a mum and still learning. Bearhugs is a home-from-home nursery where your little one would be exposed to lots of sensory play and safely explore the great outdoors. I also follow the EYFS framework to meet children's developmental needs.
I strive to keep parents updated all throughout the day and work with them to support their child's developmental journey.

PEACEFUL, BEAUTIFUL AND OUTSTANDING

I am one who is very picky when it comes to who I leave my child with. I am always worried and anxious but since I started using Bearhugs home Nursery, it has been a whole new experience for me.
I get updates (pictures and videos) of all child does and even saw a great improvement in my child’s communication and social skills.
I was greatly impressed and always looking forward to my son going there.
I am at peace whenever I am away and my son is at Bearhugs because Erica takes care of my son even more than I will as his mother.
I am super grateful for our paths crossing.

I visited Erica's child care setting and I am fully satisfied with the tidy and calm ambience.Its a smoke and pet free setting.My lil one really enjoyed both the outdoor and indoor play areas.Erica has arranged a variety of indoor games for children to help with their developement.I highly recommend it for everyone who are looking for a good child care setting.
