Part-Time Mother’s Help with Childcare Experience – Maidenhead

28+ hours per week | Flexible start date
Mon-Fri 4-8pm
Tues & Thurs 8am-12pm
Additional weekend hours available

We are a warm and busy family looking for an experienced, reliable and proactive household helper to support mum with day-to-day running of the home and childcare. Dad travels frequently for work, so we’re looking for someone who can be a steady extra pair of hands.

Main responsibilities:
Childcare support – helping with our two children (8-month-old baby and 5-year-old) alongside mum.
Sole charge care as needed
Creative and learning-focused play
Cooking healthy, family-style meals (batch cooking a plus)
Household tasks – laundry, tidying, kitchen clean-up, light cleaning, grocery management etc
Being flexible and willing to pitch in where needed.

Schedule:
Approx. 28+ hours
Option for additional ad-hoc hours during the week, weekends and school holidays (flexible and by agreement)

You are:
Trustworthy and self-motivated
Punctual and organised
Confident in the kitchen and able to plan/prepare meals
Experienced with babies and young children
Proactive and anticipates what’s needed next
DBS checked or happy to obtain
First Aid trained

Additional details:
Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications
References required
Flexibility to provide extra support for the family during Dad’s travel would be a great advantage
