About Me
Hi,
I am an Ofsted registered childminder with 17 years of childcare experience. I live in Ashford with my husband and two children, my daughter attends school locally and my son was born in March of this year (2020).
My setting aims to provide a fun, safe and stimulating home from home environment. I enjoy daily outing's to local amenities such as local groups and classes for children e.g. music sessions and toddler groups, playgrounds and walks e.g. Bedfont lakes and Bushy park. I encourage a lot of play based learning from within my home and use this approach to meet the children's individual needs as well as milestones and areas within the early years foundation stage curriculum. I like to get crafty with the children, involve them with cooking and baking and exploring the garden where they have access to sand and water play as well as other outdoor toys and ride-ons. I am a fun and laid back person who has a real passion for working with children and helping them to grow and develop to the best of their individual ability.
My Experience
I have gained my experience through a number of childcare settings and working environments. Most of which has been gained as a private Nanny both before I had children and then when they had arrived and would come to work with me.
My Qualifications
Diploma in childcare and education (level 3)
Ofsted registered
DBS checked (including my husband)
Pediatric First Aid trained (renewed every 3 years)
Safeguard trained (renewed every 3 years or as required due to change in guidelines)
Full UK driving license (clean)
Business insurance on my vehicle
My Availability
Monday - Friday (Term time only)
September 2024 spaces now Full.
Jan 2025 potential availability Thursdays and Fridays.
