My Requirements

We're looking for a part time nanny or childminder who can pick up our son from Trotts Hill school on dedicated days. After pick up we'd like you to care for him, play and prepare a light dinner either in your home or ours.

Our son is a really sweet and shy little boy but very sociable when he gets to know people. He has Down Syndrome but has attended mainstream nursery since 1 years old and not needing any 1-2-1 support. He is soon to attend a mainstream primary school. He has mild learning disability, which means he learns slower than his typical peers but he is able to do almost everything his friends can. His speech is delayed, but he loves to communicate however sometimes his words are not always clear so we use Makaton signs where needed. He absolutely loves books, Lego, music, dancing and imaginative play.

This position would be from Mon-Thu for a minimum of 16hrs per week (approx 14:30-18:30).

We would also offer the option for working additional hours providing help in the morning and dropping our son at school if you have availability. During school holidays (half term, Easter and Summer holidays) we could also offer more hours as well as occasional evening/weekend babysitting.
