About Me
Hi there, my names Zoe and I am a 20 year old level 2 qualified Childcare Practitioner. (Please note I do not drive) I am DBS checked, Paediatric First Aid trained and have a Food Safety and Hygiene Certificate. I have experience caring for children aged 3 months old to 10 years old. I also have experience with children who have special educational needs and children who are currently potty training. I am reliable, friendly and love to play and create fun activities for the children I care for including arts and crafts, sensory play and imaginative play. I’m very outdoorsy and love going on walks in all weathers, playing in the garden/park and even jumping in muddy puddles! I am bubbly and have lots of energy to keep up with energetic little ones and am also able to help out around the house.
My Experience
I have 2 years experience of regular babysitting from ages 3-10 years old. After babysitting I knew I definitely wanted to pursue a career in childcare so I started an apprenticeship in a Nursery in Farnham to accomplish my level two qualification. There I gained lots of valuable experience in caring for children aged 3 months to 5 years old. I was based in the toddler room so I have most experience with children aged 2-3 years old. I have a vast knowledge of child development and providing a safe caring environment for children to learn and play.
My Qualifications
I have a CACHE Level 2 Certificate for the Children and Young Peoples Workforce. NCFE Functional Skills in Level 1 for Mathematics, English and ICT. I have a DBS Certificate, Paediatric First Aid Certificate and Food Safety and Hygiene Certificate in Level 2.
