I consider myself to be a very kind, caring and patient person. I love to help people, especially young children as there is nothing better than watching a child's face when they accomplish something they did not know was possible. I have a passion for working with children and intend on ensuring my future is spent doing this.
My Experience
In September 2022 I finished my first nanny role overseas, as a holiday nanny for a 7 year old boy, in a fully staffed household for an international family. I primarily cared for a 7 year old boy 24/6, with occasional care of the child’s 6 month old sister, as well as occasional shared care of 2 other girls aged 3 and 5. I have also worked in a nursery, where I was mainly in the over 2's room.
I also have 2 young siblings aged 11 and 4, as well as a niece born in May 2022, so I have plenty of experience with younger children.
I am also interested in a live-out nanny role, as long as it is not too far from me (St. Neots) as I cannot drive- happy to do public transport, but this is not always completely reliable.
My Qualifications
In September 2021 I completed a course, at my then workplace, on Paediatric First Aid and Emergency First Aid at Work.
I hold a level 2 certificate in Understanding Autism.
I also have an introduction to teaching phonics certificate, and I am currently working towards gaining a Level 3 Child Psychology Diploma (online course).
My Availability
I am currently self-employed, working two days a week; Thursday and Friday. I am able to swap these two days, for a different two during the week, but these days will have to be set in stone
