My Requirements

Here's the updated **Childcare Requirements** section:

**What we need:**
- Every **Thursday after school** from September, plus **Thursdays in school holidays** (starting this summer)
- The very occasional **Monday or Tuesday** — less than once a month, but helpful to have someone we can call on
- **Occasional Saturday daytimes** from September — usually just a couple of hours

We aim to be home by 6pm and are always back by 6:30 at the latest.

**A typical afternoon will involve:**
- Collecting the children from school — Elizabeth will need a snack straight away!
- Keeping them entertained and getting dinner on for around 5:30pm
- Overseeing the pre-bath wind-down — the kids are pretty independent and will usually sort themselves out, but they'll need someone around!
- General light tidying — unloading the dishwasher, bringing in the washing if it's dry, and making sure the children tidy up after themselves and don't leave quite the trail of destruction they're capable of! We encourage them to join in with these jobs too
- If you can get Elizabeth to sit down and do a bit of reading, that would be an absolute bonus!

**A full driving licence is essential.** We're also very happy for the children to walk back from school if you're organised enough to manage it — though we should warn you, there may be some whining along the way!

**We're looking for someone who is:**
- Experienced with young children
- Reliable and communicative
- Happy, energetic, and able to get stuck in!
