I am a career Nanny with Qualifications and extensive experience. Childcare is my vocation and I love my job!
I have worked with children in a Nanny role for the past Five years. I thoroughly enjoy what I do, that is caring for young children, attending to their needs, making the children laugh and above all keeping them safe. Over the years I have built trust and friendships not only with the children but the parents too.
In my time being a nanny I have participated in the following duties:

Incorporating learning through reading and teaching i.e. colours, numbers and spoken language also the joy of singing good old fashion nursery rhymes!

I take my career as a vocation providing the best care and affection towards children. I have a gentle approach towards young people and feel that this creates a calm and thriving environment.
I am aware of safeguarding and prioritise children's safety in my care.
I treat people how I would like to be treated. Kindness goes a long way!
I'm a Bookworm and feel passionate about children reading and love nothing more than to snuggle up to read with children and encourage them about their literary adventures.
My superpower would have to be that I'm Imaginative. I can connect with children on their level and enjoy inventing games and role play with kids. I guess I am a big kid at heart!
Why I love working with kids? -
They are incredibly funny and I find it a pleasure to watch them learn and discover. The greatest moment is when a child asks for you to come back the next day!

I enjoy creative writing, History, music, arts & crafts & gardening. I'm vegan and a huge animal lover! I am currently mum to rescue kittens ( sadly I don't do spiders haha! )
Currently studying at Sheffield Hallam University - working with children & families.
