Hello, I’m Jennifer, and , I am in the registration reprocess to became childminder, I am living Swanscombe Kent.
I’m a warm, caring and friendly childcare provider who is passionate about creating a safe, welcoming and stimulating home-from-home environment where children can feel happy, secure and confident.
I have experience working in a nursery and have completed training in areas including safeguarding, child development, health and safety, equality and inclusion, and communication with children. I also hold a Paediatric First Aid certificate.
My approach is centred around **learning through play**, helping children develop their independence, confidence and social skills while having fun. I enjoy creating activities based on children's interests and also develop their curiosity, including creative activities, sensory play, books, outdoor adventures and age-appropriate learning experiences.
I will introduce to children some simple French words and phrases through everyday activities, songs, stories, games and conversations. This will be a fun and informal way to encourage children’s interest in different languages and cultures.
I want every child to feel valued, listened to and respected. I believe that children learn best when they feel safe, loved and encouraged to explore the world around them.
I also understand how important it is for parents to feel comfortable and confident when choosing childcare. I aim to build positive relationships with families through open communication and by keeping parents informed about their child's day and development.
I look forward to welcoming families to and providing children with a happy place to learn, play, explore and grow.

My Experience
As a mum of 5, I have experienced working in a nursery, where I have supported , in their learning, development and everyday care. I have worked with children of different ages from babies to pre-schoolers and have gained practical experience in creating a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment.
I have experience caring for babies through my experience as a mother and nursery setting . This has given me practical knowledge of babies’ routines, feeding, nappy changing, sleep, comforting and responding to their individual needs.
I am now developing my professional knowledge through newborn and baby-care training so that I can build on my personal experience and provide safe, nurturing and developmentally appropriate care in my childminding setting.
Through my nursery experience and childcare training, I have developed knowledge of safeguarding, child development, health and safety, communication, equality and inclusion, and supporting children’s individual needs.
I enjoy planning and providing play-based activities that encourage children to explore, develop their independence and build confidence. I particularly enjoy sensory play, creative activities, books, outdoor learning and exploring nature.
I also hold a Paediatric First Aid certificate and understand the importance of keeping children safe, happy and well cared for.
