My Experience

I have almost 5 years experience of working within the childcare field, gained through both nursery work and nannying.
I began my career working in a nursery at 18 years old, I trained within my first year and obtained a level 3 childcare qualification, I then stayed for an extra year and a half, working towards becoming a room co-ordinator. I worked with children between the ages of 6 weeks - 5 years. Some of my many roles and responsibilities included: following and remembering routines, following health and safety procedures, planning and doing engaging activities, creating next steps and setting out activities to support children in the developmental milestones, keeping up to date with laws and regulations that affected my job role.
After my work in a nursery I became a sole care charge nanny for 3 children, when I started they were aged 18months, 4 and 7. I had extra responsibilities being a sole charge nanny such as administering medication (one of the children is epileptic), cooking and preparing healthy balanced meals, monitoring a low sugar diet for the child with epilepsy, planning engaging activities for all ages. I follow the EYFS to plan and create engaging and fun learning opportunities for all ages. As well as this, I have cared for 2 dogs so I am very dog friendly (one dog also had 8 puppies! Adorable but very hard work!), I have done over night stays and taken up light house work (children’s laundry, cleaning children’s areas and areas use)

First Aid Trained (paediatric)

My Availability

I am looking to start a new job September 2023 but an early/later date can be discussed. I can be flexible with my hours and days, I work Monday to Friday and I am looking for a full time position.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
• Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)
