About Me
I'm an Ofsted-registered childminder, living close to Orpington station (0.3 miles away) and Crofton. I live with my husband and two young daughters along with our two friendly pet cats. We live in a semi-detached house with a generous sized garden which I use as my setting.
Until 2019 I worked in marketing up in London but, after 10 years, I decided it was time for a new challenge. So, I followed my dream and become a childminder, helping children to learn and grow - I haven't looked back! Having used childminders in the past for my own children, I believe I know what makes a good one and can offer these traits to the children and families in my care.
My Experience
Aside from caring for my own two daughters and other children in my family, I have ample experience from over 5 years of childminding children of various ages.

Our son has been going to Liz's setting since May 2022, he settled in really quickly and lovely to see his interactions with older children in Liz's care too and make friends.
Big transitions like reducing naps, teething, & moving off nappies have been really seamless, which is something we would have otherwise worried about. Liz provides us with photos and updates through the day which is a lovely way of seeing his day.
Our son has had a wonderful few years in Liz's care, often engaging in great craft, problem solving or roleplay activities and having small trips and adventures outdoors. Our son has thoroughly enjoyed all the activities and days out. Liz is a great childminder who we would recommend.

Liz has been caring for our son Bodie since March 2023. He settled in really quickly and we have never had any doubt Bodie is in the safest of hands. Liz provides engaging activities which our son enjoys telling us about once he comes home. The small snippets of feedback throughout the day are so lovely and it really does help to receive pictures and updates when he isn't with us. Liz also provides fresh, homemade and healthy meals and snacks each day, catering perfectly to our son's dietary needs.
All in all, we have been blown away by the care Bodie has received from Liz. He comes away happy and excited to go back, and regularly talks about his time there. This demonstrates that he is comfortable, and feels safe with Liz, which is one of the most important things for us. We would highly recommend Liz to any parents looking for childcare.

My daughter has attended Liz’s setting since March 2021. We have been so happy with everything that Liz provides, from the nutritious meals, the regular updates throughout the day, the varying daily activities and the development shown in my daughter. We were nervous about sending my daughter as she was a lockdown baby with minimal interaction with others, however Liz reassured us and settled her in perfectly. Her experience and friendly nature make her the obvious choice for anyone looking for a childminder! Would highly recommend.
