About Me

Hello,
We are a family of five looking for a kind, reliable and caring babysitter to occasionally help look after our three wonderful children.
We have an 11-month-old son, Gabriel, a 4-year-old son, Santiago (Santi), and our 6-year-old daughter, Sofia.
Ideally, we are looking for someone who lives locally to us in Bolbeck Park, MK15, as we hope to build a long-term relationship with someone our children feel comfortable and happy with.
Santi is a bright, energetic and curious little boy who loves exploring the world around him. He absolutely LOVES cars and all types of vehicles. He also enjoys messy play, puzzles, building blocks and anything that allows him to be creative and hands-on. He has lots of energy, loves being active and enjoys leading the way!
Santi will be starting school this September, and our youngest, Gabriel, will be starting nursery. Santi has previously received NHS speech and language therapy and is currently on the waiting list for further support. He has made wonderful progress recently and has started using lots more words. He is very curious and often points to things and asks questions such as “What is that?”
We would love to find someone who can encourage his communication and confidence, so experience with SEN or supporting children with speech and language development would be highly valued.
We are also a bilingual family. My husband is Colombian, and his family speak Spanish with the children, although we mainly speak English at home. We have been advised that growing up with two languages can sometimes influence speech development, so we would appreciate someone who is understanding and supportive of this.
Sofia is a confident and loving 6-year-old who enjoys talking, singing, swimming, drawing and reading. She loves engaging with people and sharing her interests.
Gabriel is our happy little smiler. He is currently learning new skills and is starting to stand and walk around furniture. He loves interaction and attention from his siblings.
We would also appreciate some support with potty training Santi. He understands what the potty is for and will happily sit on it and pretend to use it, so we are looking for someone patient and encouraging who can help him continue developing this skill.
The ideal babysitter would be DBS checked, have references, be reliable, patient and genuinely enjoy spending time with children. We would love someone who will make our children feel safe, comfortable and cared for, and who can keep us updated with photos and little updates about how they are getting on.
We hope to find someone who becomes a familiar and trusted person in our children’s lives.
