About Me
Hello! I am a student based in North/East London, I have extensive experience looking after toddlers as well as older children.
Most recently I was looking after 2 five year old boys and 1 two year old boy. (More details at the bottom of my page)
People say they find me approachable, patient and friendly and I can relate to people from all walks of life. I am hard working and organised, I often plan ahead and think creatively.
I am extremely compassionate, and I love to make people feel safe and happy. I am an active nanny who believes children learn and enjoy themselves in outdoor environments. I am also highly musical, can play the piano, saxophone, guitar and sing. I can also cook and happy to deal with any incontinence issues.
Although I do not have a car, I have a bike and can cycle, or tube to locations if neccessary.

My Experience
Part time nanny, assisting families across London, Oxford and Berlin, from ages 6 months to 13+, mainly working with children under 2.
I volunteered for 2 years at my local church once a week, teaching children ages 3-5
Since the start of the pandemic, I looked after multiple children from different family’s, their ages ranging from 2-6.
A few of these families were also bilingual, (Spanish, Lithuanian and Greek)- whilst I do not speak these languages fluently at all, I managed to adapt my communication skills to fit their play and understanding.

- I really recommend Lydia as a babysitter. She has taken care of both of my children (5 and 2) and they really like her. She has been regularly babysitting my oldest son and a neighbour for five weeks and she plays with them, they do outdoor activities and also she does their homework with them. She is super nice with them and I feel very comfortable when they are with her as I know they are being taken care of.
- Lydia is a very enthusiastic babysitter, who charmed our almost 2 year old and 5 year old boys with stories and imaginative play. She’s great with children. She would be pro-active in making activities with what we had available. Art, outdoor play and reading books including those that she brought along. She changed nappies, gave snacks/drinks and was good at settling our almost two year old if he was upset.

My Qualifications
Currently on third year of Textile Design (BA) at Central Saint Martins
GCSE (2018): 11 A*-C grades (inc Mathematics and English Language)
A levels (2020): AAA - English literature, Art and Philosophy.
