About Me
Hello, My name is Patricia (Please call me Tricia). I am a registered childminder living in the Deans area of Livingston. I have 2 children Connor who is 8 and Cerys who is 1. I have newly registered as a childminder with the Care Inspectorate.
My home is in walking distance to the three primary schools in Deans; St John Ogilvie, Meldrum and Deans Primary. I am a maximum walk of 10 minutes to all of the above Primary Schools.
I am a 15 minute (20 if strolling!) walk from Livingston North Train Station.
My hours of working are 7.30 a.m. to 6/6.30 p.m. Monday to Friday's.
I have spent my adulthood providing care from children aged 3 months to 16 years old. Prior to registering as a childminder I have experience in providing childcare in a variety of settings including; Private nurseries, Out of school care and local authority settings for children in high school, primary and nursery.
I am well trained on safety, fire safety and child protection.
My Experience
I have worked in various childcare settings over my 17 years experience, and worked with children from 3 months to 16 years old.
I have a excellent knowledge of all aspects of child development and most importantly I know how to have fun!
I enjoy providing a variety of activities and experiences for all children to learn and enjoy including arts and crafts and baking activities, trips to the park and regular outings in the summer. I am a huge advocate for outdoor play and understand the vast amount of learning that children can experience through outdoor play. I also encourage the children age dependent to be responsible/ take part in assessing and managing their own risks through more challenging and risky play. I also provide experiences for children to be involved in planting in the garden.

My Availability
As a newly registered childminder I have availability Monday to Friday's. Hours can be arranged to what is required. I am flexible and understand the stress that looking for childcare can cause to Parents looking for someone who they can trust to care for your child. As a Parent myself I aim to make decision as stress-free as possible
