Hello! I'm Ruth, I am 22 years old and a student living in York, but I am originally from Berkshire.
I have 2 years+ childcare experience from working at a local nursery and doing local nannying/babysitting.
I am friendly, enthusiastic, creative, have a strong work ethic and absolutely adore children.
I am very passionate about the well-being and imaginative play of children and especially love spending time with children outdoors! I can also help with meals or homework where need be.
My passions include reading, arts and crafts, singing/performing, baking, travelling, etc. These are activities I love to incorporate into my time with children.
I am very passionate about being in nature, sustainability and finding creative/non-screen activities to do with children.
It’s a great joy for me to help raise kids to become kind, creative, intelligent humans!
I do not currently hold a driver's license.

My Experience
I have worked at a local nursery that cares for babies to pre-school age children. As well as nursery work, I do nannying and ad hoc babysitting.
I understand the responsibility and patience required to look after your child.
My Qualifications
DBS checked.
All 7 GCSE’s including History, French, Art and Music.
A-levels in English Literature, History and Sociology.
I am currently studying for a bachelor’s degree in English Literature and History.
My Availability
I am available for ad-hoc nannying and after-school care in/near central York.
As I am a student, my availability depends on my weekly class schedule however I am more than happy to work out hours with you!
