My Experience

I have over two years of experience working as a childminding assistant, supporting the daily care and development of children across different age groups. During this time, I was actively involved in planning activities in line with the EYFS framework, maintaining safe routines, observing children’s progress and supporting their individual needs.

This hands-on experience gave me a strong practical understanding of child development, behaviour management and safeguarding responsibilities within a home-based childcare setting. It also strengthened my confidence in creating structured routines, promoting independence and supporting children’s social and emotional development.
As a mum to a five-year-old girl, I also understand the parent’s perspective and how important it is to choose childcare where children feel safe, valued and genuinely cared for.

My Availability

Working Hours
I work Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 6:00 pm, offering a warm and home-from-home environment where children feel happy and secure.
Places are offered with consideration of each family’s needs, including age, hours required and daily routines.
I currently operate a waiting list, but places do become available from time to time, so I always welcome enquiries from families planning ahead or exploring childcare options for the future.

School Drop-Off & Pick-Up
I provide school drop-off and pick-up (by car) for:
• St Joseph & St Teresa’s Catholic Primary School
• Adwick Primary School
Wraparound care includes meals and a calm space for children to relax and unwind after their school day.

My Fees

• Childminding from £6.00 per hour

£6.00 per hour – Standard childcare
Includes all meals, snacks and activity resources.
Funded hours are welcome.

£8.00 per hour – Wraparound care
Includes school drop-off and pick-up by car, meals and resources.
No hidden extras.

During school holidays, full childcare is available at the standard rate of £6.00 per hour.
