My Summary

My Experience

For the past 3 years I’ve been working at a Family-run nursery in Bristol, working in the Baby Unit, Twos and 3-4 year old room. I work with all ages and enjoy my work very much! Prior to this, I have been working in Japan for the past few years (2019-2021) as a lead Preschool Teacher and a Babysitter and Nanny in my spare time. I’ve worked with Montessori and The Integrated Learning Approach at my first school (lead Kindergarten teacher) Then moved on to work at a Reggio Emilia inspired international preschool. Speaking in English and Japanese primarily. Working both in the heart of Tokyo and in the countryside so I have lots of experience in outdoor learning too!
I have worked with children from 3months to 7yrs. Lastly I have grown up with a younger sibling who has Down Syndrome, this has given me the chance to gain maturity and patience from an early age. Working with children brings me great joy, I love hearing their unique insights and perspectives on things. I love to be silly and have a fun with them playing games and dancing!

My Qualifications

I have teacher training in Japan, also training in Montessori and Reggio Emilia learning. I have first aid training for children and infants. Also qualifications in Makaton (a form of Sign Language).

My Availability

My current availability is limited to Mondays + weekends all day and evenings from 18:30 onwards. However I’m looking for a full-time nanny position to transition to from my current position at a nursery.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
• Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)

My fees range depending on the job requirements. I’m open to negotiation too of course.
