About Me
I have finished my last role as a live-out Nanny due to the family emigrating to Austraila, due to work commitments. I am therefore looking for a new Nanny position. I live in Broxbourne in Hertfordshire and I am happy to travel to surrounding areas. I have a very friendly, easy-going, kind, compassionate and helpful personality and I get on well with people of all ages. I am very hard working, dependable, trust-worthy, organised and have excellent time management and communication skills. I love taking on new challenges and always give 100%. I fit into a family easily as I am happy to carry out instructions as required but I am also able to work independently and use my own initiative. I drive and have my own car so transport is not a problem. I am also a non-smoker. I enjoy using my skills in childcare to help shape children into confident, intelligent, well mannered and happy little people who can then carry those skills into adulthood. I enjoy creating fun activities for children to stimulate their minds and help them to progress well through their stages of development. I am also happy to take them to any organised activities outside of the home like swimming, dance classes etc. When I'm not working I enjoy socialising with my family and friends, going to the gym, cinema, eating out and I really enjoy cooking from scratch with fresh ingredients and experimenting with new recipes
My Experience
Due to my last Nanny family emigrating to Australia, I am now looking for another full-time Nanny position. I am a fully qualified childcare practitioner with Level 2 and Level 3 Childcare qualifications and I’ve been working in childcare since I left school. My last position was as a full time Nanny working for an amazing family with 2 children aged 10 months and 3 years and I was lucky enough to be treated as part of their wonderful family. I previously worked in a private childrens nursery with time spent in both the Baby room with 0-18 month babies, and the toddler room, and prior to that I had various placements at nurseries and primary level and this has really helped to increase my all round experience with children of all ages, including babies. I have Level 2 and Level 3 Cache childcare qualifications, a recent enhanced DBS check, 12 hour paediatric 1st aid qualification and a Certificate in food hygiene and infection control. I always give 100% to any role I take on and will ensure your child /children will feel loved, safe and happy while in my charge.
I always encourage and promote good behaviour, good manners, politeness, kindness, sharing, confidence, self esteem and honesty in a fun and loving environment to allow children to feel valued and grow to their full potential. I also enjoy cooking from scratch with healthy ingredients so im happy to prepare meals for your little ones if required. My Qualifications
I have a Level 3 and Level 2 Cache qualification in Childcare . I also have a recent enhanced DBS check, a 12 hour paediatric 1st Aid certificate and Hygiene and food safety certificate. I have been working in childcare since I left school. I also have Maths, English, ICT and Business Studies qualifications, meaning I have everything needed to count in staff / children ratios
