My Experience

I have multiple years of experience as I come from a big family of 5 children, myself being the oldest. Though there was 5 of us living together we always had the extra ‘school/family friend’ over. Due to our close relationships with our family friends I’ve got years of experience with babysitting regular children from ages 0-15. I am a friendly girl who loves children as they are her own, I will get down and play with paw patrol toys (I’ve been told by my lovely 3 year old I get the names wrong), I will happily put on princess dresses and sing LET IT GO over and over again. I will also happily try and beat my brothers on their gaming consoles! Even though we have the best time I also love to get involved with the ‘boring stuff’ (as kids say) aka homework, as well I am always looking for ideas to do with the kids that all ages will enjoy (mostly because it looks interesting to me and I’ll look to silly to be doing it on my own haha)

As above I have previous nanny experience to 3 adorable children ages 3,6 and 9 in sunny Los Angeles. I was with them as a live in nanny for over 2 years. My relationship with them is a big sister/authority figure. My roles include, making them meals, getting ready, driving and picking up, homework, activities, laundry, cleaning up after them - teaching them to also take accountability for their messes. I work my schedule hours M-F 7am-6pm (dinner/bath), on occasion I do evenings (bedtime) and a few times a year I take full responsibility if parents go out of town. I adore these kids and parents and will be sad to leave them.

I think of myself as being in control. I like to be in-charge when I am working. I am very happy to take direction. But in situation where no direction or instruction (no plans) is needed I am very flexible and work well in making decisions i.e (what do we do today?). I also work well in unexpected situations - for example, my 6 year old NK broke his arm, required a 12 hour ER trip (waiting) and without asking I jumped in to watch the two other kids overnight. As you can see I am ALWAYS happy to help out, and that is my motto. I WANT to help you guys out as parents. Whatever you need to make your lives just a little bit easier.

In addition to my multiple babysitting jobs I’ve had over the years and still do on a adhoc basis, I have been a supervisor at a children’s soft play centre for over 3 years. This required me to run the day to day basis and over the months we manage to open during covid, I was running the business due to my boss having to shield. This job has required me to manage a capacity of 110 by managing bookings, serving food to customers, first aid, party hosting etc and generally getting to know my regular customers, I have also occasionally become Spider-Man or Elsa for a child’s birthday party!

My Qualifications

Qualifications/Documents I can provide:

AHA Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED and First Aid training. (due to refresh)
BTEC LVL 3 Health and Social Care Qualifications
Completion of a Speech Therapy and SEN Teaching Assistant Course

FBI checked due to living abroad ?
DBS Enhanced! ?

I know I don’t hold every qualification but I can promise you that your kids would be in the very best of care and I would protect them with my life. You are of course welcome to ask ANY question!

My Availability

My availability is sparse right now and could work for adhoc babysitting. I have more day availability Mon-Wed late January 2024 until June 2024

My Fees

• Babysitting from £10.50 per hour
• Nannying from £10.50 per hour (gross)

£10.50 for babysitting 1-3 children. 2 hours minimum (open to discuss)- any extra children 2.00

£10.50 for a part time nanny situation.
