Hi, I’m Emma and I live in Pendeford with my family.
I have over 22 years experience working with children of all ages and in a variety of settings. Rainbows childminding provides a warm, friendly, home from home environment with a family atmosphere in which children can play, learn, develop and have lots of fun!
While the children are at my home they will have use of multiple rooms including a playroom, lounge, dining area and conservatory.We have a rear garden where the children can enjoy playing with scooters, sit on toys, playhouse, garden games, sand, water and much more!
We enjoy getting out as much as possible and have fun attending play and stay sessions, feeding the ducks, library visits, walks, National Trust, soft play, meeting up with other childminders, visiting local farms and parks.
My aim is to support parents to help the children become independent, happy and confident little people!
My Experience
I qualified as a Nursery Nurse (NNEB) in 1998, and have worked in a variety of settings including schools, nurseries, children’s centres, pre-schools, and a special school. I then worked as a Teaching Assistant for just over 17 years.
I registered as a childminder in October 2021 and have recently had my first OFSTED grading.
