Part Time Nanny Job In London Borough Of Hackney
About Me
Based in De Beauvoir. We are a young friendly family with two parents who are both professionals with a 3 year old boy and a baby boy (10 months). We are looking for an after school (nursery) nanny to keep our children safe and to make their days fun, stimulating and structured. We will require a nanny 3 afternoons per week from November 2023.
My Requirements
We are looking for a permanent nanny who will work two afternoons per week initially (Tuesday and Thursday starting in late October 2023/early November and increasing to three days a week from January 2024 (Tuesday to Thursday). We need someone who can work the following hours:
- Tuesday and Thursday from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm.
- Wednesdays from 1 pm - 7 pm.
Whilst it is our intention to be home by 6:30 pm, we need flexibility to work until 7:30 pm if necessary.
Ideally we are looking to commit to offering 12-15 hours per month but we’d be very happy to offer more hours if you’d be willing to help with some domestic chores including cooking and cleaning.
Your responsibilities will include collecting the boys from nursery, day-to-day care, playing with them, making them healthy meals, taking them to local activities (parks, library, baby classes, play dates) and taking care of household chores to the extent that they are associated with their care: laundry, personal care including bath time, keeping rooms tidy etc.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is caring, trustworthy and loves looking after children
- Is a childcare professional with an NVQ in childcare or equivalent
- Has experience of looking after babies and can provide references
- Has a recent DBS
- Is a non-smoker
- Has a current first aid qualification
- Speaks fluent English and has good communication skills
- Is enthusiastic and has initiative
- Driving licence would be beneficial but not essential.
