My business is called Little Angels Childminding.
I have a secure ‘home from home’ environment for children and understand the importance of forming a secure attachment with the key people in their lives.
I love working with children of all ages as I find it both enjoyable and rewarding work. I love the way children carry out every activity with bundles of enthusiasm and energy.
I welcome all children and their families and try to accommodate all needs and preferences where possible.
I am able to offer a safe and secure environment that is happy and stimulating for children of all ages.
Your child will enjoy lots of different activities such as messy play, play dough, painting, arts and crafts, water play and free play in the playroom which opens out onto a clean garden.
I also love being out and about so will be attending toddler groups, trips to the park, walks in the woods and day trips to local farms, the wild place and anywhere that involves fun and activity.
I have two daughters of my own, one who is now 26 and lives with her partner in Bath and my other daughter who is 13. I live in a 4 bed town house and the ground floor is being used solely for childminding.
My Experience
I have previously worked in a nursery for 3 years and as a private Nanny for various families. I have also worked as a healthcare assistant on a maternity ward for premature babies and babies being born onto the at risk register.
I have spent 8 years working in a mental health hospital with one of those years being spent on a children’s secure mental health unit.
I now have my own childminding business based in Cheswick village, Stoke Gifford.
My Qualifications
I hold a NVQ level 2 in Childcare and Early Education as well as an NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care. I have also completed the OFSTED approved for Childminding Course and hold a valid Paediatric First Aid Certificate. Additional training on safeguarding has also been completed.
My Availability
I have a 1 day a week place available for an under 3 year old from September 2026 on a Thursday 8am-4.30pm!!
I am available Tuesday, Wednesday 8am-6pm and a Thursday 8am-4.30pm
My Fees
- Childminding from £8.50 per hour
My Fees are £85 per day 8am-6pm
This includes two snacks mid- morning and afternoon. Water will be available all day.
Parents are to provide packed lunches.
If parents want their child to eat a hot meal on a evening I can warm up food provided by parents.
This also includes trips to Playgroups, Softplay, and various farms and parks.
My Local Schools

I feel incredibly lucky to have found Jennie and am so happy to leave my son in her care. It is really nerve wracking to leave your child with someone unknown to them but once he settled (which he did very quickly) I didn't have to worry about leaving him, knowing that he was having fun with his new friends and with Jennie. They have a great time going to playgroups, the park to feed the ducks and even sometimes the farm! Jennie communicates well, and I love getting updates and photos via the app. I really can't thank Jennie enough for her excellent care of my little boy!

We had a really good experience with Jenny looking after our son. We felt really confident that he was safe and well. Jenny provided lots of feedback on how he was doing and she struck us as a really organised and dedicated childcare provider. We’d recommend her wholeheartedly.

It was hard to hand over our daughter after Maternity leave ended, but Jennie made the transition so easy. My daughter absolutely adores her and Jennie adores her back. Her days are filled with fun, adventure and educational activities, and she comes home every day with a big smile on her face. I leave my daughter with Jennie so easily now, knowing that she’s in the best care, with someone who genuinely cares about her. I whole heartily recommend Jennie and Little Angels childminding services.
