About Me
Hi I’m Elaine. I live in Northfield. I am an OFSTED registered childminder and fully insured. I am happily married to Ian. A mother to two grown up children and grandmother to 2. My daughter Emily-Louise and myself are in a joint partnership in Happy House Childminding. We all live together along with Rohan who is my grandson/Emily’s son. We are providing a warm, safe and loving environment for Rohan and your children.
Rohan is the football expert at 3 years old and he is also the Director of fun, singing and outings. Each day is different in order for all the children to use their imagination and learn in a fun and structured way.
We are both fully qualified to deliver Early Years Foundation Stage and have completed a course for the revised EYFS and Development Matters 2021. EYFS has now changed to reflect EIF (Education Inspection Framework). New changes are coming in from 1st September 2021.
We are offering good quality childcare to our local community.
Our fees are all inclusive of breakfast, lunch, snacks.
My Experience
My experience is having under 1 year olds and my grandson Rohan who lives here with us.
I decided to have a career change when Rohan was born. My previous experience has been in law in particular child care of approximately 14 years. I then joined the NHS and completed 18 years service.
I am extremely enthusiastic about my new career change, I have always worked in a caring and sensitive environment and this is an extension to that.

Elaine and her daughter Emily go out of the way to make sure your children are comfortable in their care. My children have enjoyed being looked after by Elaine and Emily and they spend time trying to give the children the type of food they will like and doing activities with the children that they may enjoy for there age. Any queries they are happy to help and any concerns they are reassuring and try and communicate efficiently with you.
