My Summary

My Experience

Within my childcare course I carried out over 750 hours of childcare experience with ages ranging from 0-7 year olds.
Since then I went into care work at a nursing home and have a year and a half of caring experience in aged care. Which included a senior role and an insight into medical care as well.
I then went on to travelling to Australia where I was an au pair for two different families. My first host family consisted of 4 children aged 1,3,4,6.
Then my second host family in which I stayed with for a year, I cared full time for twins girls (who were 11 months old when I started) as well as their 5 year old brother.
Along side this I have a nephew who is now 5 years old and a baby niece who I have regularly looked after both since they were born - either on their own or together.
I have 2 years of experience working full time in a nursery, working in both 3-5 years and 0-3 year rooms.
I became a nanny to a 6 month old baby, who I cared for for a year. In which I even traveled to Canada to support their transition when moving out there!
I am currently at university studying Midwifery and looking for some part time work along side this.

GCSE health and social care awarded Distinction
National Diploma in Children’s play learning and development, awarded Distinction*DistinctionDistinction
Full paediatric first aid
Previous - First aid - save a life (child) and emergency first aid in a work place
Full clean DBS checks (happy to provide evidence)

My Availability

Available all evenings and weekends and occasional days depending on my lectures or placement shifts. Over nights discussed and agreed in advance.
