About Me

I am currently a university student. My background in working with early years children has motivated me to pursue my childcare career further. In my most recent job I have been working with primary school children ages 5-12 as well as with additional needs children. My interpersonal skills that I've gained as a result of my work experience can be easily transferrable to other areas of work.

My Experience

I have worked with a charity that focuses on helping fayhers engage with their children during their play. Whilst working there I worked with children from the ages of 1 to 3yrs and created various activites for them to help them to develop certain skills e.g. painting to help with fine motor skills. I have also worked in an after school club where I worked with children both with and without additional needs with ages spanning from 5-16yrs.

My Qualifications

I have 5 higher qualifications in maths, english, business management, biology, chemistry and art. In addition to this I also have 2 advanced highers in maths and biology.I have a PVG but will be working towards having more childcare qualifications in the future. I am currently also working towards getting my first aid qualification very soon.
