About Me

I am a responsible, hardworking, and enthusiastic education professional with over 6 years’ experience working across early years and primary education. I currently work as a PPA Cover Teacher, delivering planned lessons and supporting learning across Nursery, Reception, KS1, and KS2.
I have a strong background in biological sciences, education, and mental health support, with my career beginning in primary education as a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant before progressing to a Teaching Assistant role and now into teaching.
Throughout my experience, I have worked closely with children, teachers, and parents, developing strong professional relationships and a consistent, child-centred approach. I have excellent communication skills, which I use to engage and motivate pupils, support learning effectively, and adapt teaching to individual needs.
I am confident in creating positive learning environments, supporting pupils to complete tasks successfully, and introducing new concepts in an accessible way. I also have strong active listening skills, enabling me to understand and respond appropriately to individual needs. I am committed to maintaining a safe, supportive classroom environment and consistently follow safeguarding procedures.
In addition to my school-based role, I am also a Sunday school teacher, which further reflects my passion for working with children. I take great pride in supporting children’s development and enjoy seeing them grow in confidence, ability and independence.
