As a first time mum, finding someone I could completely trust with my son was incredibly important to me and from the very beginning Lenka put me at ease.

She took the time to sit down with me and explain the whole process, asking thoughtful questions about my son’s routine, habits, likes and dislikes and really getting to know him before caring for him. It was clear from our first meeting that she genuinely cares about the children she looks after.

What has impressed me the most is how knowledgeable and experienced she is. She’s given me so much helpful advice not just about childcare, but about nutrition, healthy eating, learning through play and ways to support my son’s development. She has taught me things I simply didn’t know and is always sharing practical tips and suggestions that I can use at home. I never feel judged. she genuinely wants to help both my son and me and I’ve learned so much from her.

Since Lenka has been coming to us each week, she has helped my son establish a much better routine. One of the biggest achievements has been helping him settle down for naps in his own room, something we had struggled with before. Her patience, consistency and understanding have made such a positive difference.

She plans engaging, age-appropriate activities that my son genuinely enjoys. They read stories together, draw and colour, play with animal toys and do activities that encourage his fine motor skills and overall development. She also takes him on walks and makes sure he has a lovely balance of learning, play and fresh air. Every activity has a purpose, and it’s wonderful to see how much he is learning while having fun.

One thing I especially appreciate is how well she communicates. Throughout the day she regularly sends me updates and photos, letting me know what they’re doing and how my son is getting on. As a working mum, those little updates mean so much. They give me real peace of mind and allow me to feel connected to my son’s day, knowing that he’s happy, engaged and enjoying himself.

My son is two and very much in the “terrible twos” stage yet Lenka is incredibly patient, calm and confident with him. She knows exactly how to communicate with toddlers, encourage positive behaviour and help them feel safe, understood and secure.

Most importantly, I have complete trust in her. As a parent, there’s no greater reassurance than knowing your child is happy, safe and genuinely cared for and that’s exactly how I feel whenever my son is with Lenka. I never feel anxious leaving him because I know he is in such capable and caring hands.

I couldn’t recommend Lenka highly enough. She is professional, knowledgeable, kind, patient and truly passionate about childcare. She doesn’t just look after children she supports their development, builds their confidence and even helps parents grow in confidence too. Any family would be incredibly lucky to have her care for their children.
