About Me
I am an Art therapist with a nurturing and creative approach when providing support. I believe in creative, and innovative solutions when problems arise, and I have a true passion for helping individuals with special needs, or those who are considered to have complex needs.
I would describe myself as creative, active and empathetic and am looking for part time work alongside my art therapy position.
My Experience
I have experience supporting children with learning disabilities and/or autism and SEHM needs in educational and home settings. This is where my passion lies and I feel that I have acquired a strong sense of my own emotional intelligence in order to understand the needs and emotions of others.
I have also looked after 2 boys aged 10 and 11 on and off for the past 8 years, staying with them in their home, picking them up from after school clubs and doing arty activities with them. I have watched them grow up over the years and they need my support less now so am looking to be integrated into another family where it feels it is the right fit for parents, the child/children and myself.

Art Psychotherapy MA, Distinction (2025)
Health and Social Care NVQ Level 3. (2020)
Foundation certificate in Art therapy. (2019)
