About Me
Hello, I’m Kim, an Ofsted-registered childminder based in Kingswood, Bristol.
I’m passionate about providing a safe, happy and nurturing home-from-home environment where children feel loved, valued and confident to be themselves. I believe children learn best through play, exploration and having the freedom to follow their own interests.
I love getting outdoors and giving children opportunities to explore the world around them through park visits, nature walks, toddler groups, soft play and other fun outings. I encourage curiosity, creativity, independence and resilience, while supporting each child’s individual needs and development in line with the EYFS.
As a mum myself, I understand how important it is to find childcare where you feel comfortable, confident and reassured that your little ones are being cared for with kindness and attention.
My aim is to create a welcoming setting where every child feels included, builds friendships, makes special memories and develops a love of learning at their own pace.
I look forward to working closely with families to give children the best possible start in their early years. ?
My Experience
As a mum of three children, I have gained lots of hands-on experience caring for children at different stages of their development. Being a parent has taught me the importance of patience, understanding, routine and creating a safe, loving environment where children can thrive.
I have a passion for early years with 20 year experience and enjoy supporting children as they learn new skills, build confidence and explore the world around them. I understand that every child is different, and I aim to provide individual care that supports their interests, needs and development.
I enjoy planning fun, play-based activities and outdoor adventures that encourage curiosity, creativity, independence and resilience.
As an Ofsted-registered childminder, I am committed to providing high-quality care and helping children feel happy, secure and confident in my setting
My Qualifications
*OFSTED registered childminder
*Paediatric First Aid trained
* Level 3 BTEC in Childcare and Education
*Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection
*Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
*Committed to ongoing training and professional development
My Availability
I currently have availability from Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm
I offer term-time funded hours and would be happy to discuss your childcare needs to see how I can help your family

- Childminding from £10.00 per hour
