My Experience

Being part of a big, close-knit family, I’ve grown up surrounded by children – babysitting for younger cousins, neighbours, and family friends from a young age. Looking after little ones has always come naturally to me, and it’s what inspired me to turn that passion into a career.

I’ve worked in a nursery for two years, supported in my auntie’s nursery, and completed a variety of school placements during my PGCE training. These experiences have given me confidence with children of all ages – from babies and toddlers right up to early primary years. I’ve also worked as a tutor, helping children with their homework and building their confidence, especially in subjects like English and Maths.

Thanks to this wide range of hands-on experience, I know how to create a safe, calm, and fun environment where children feel happy and supported – whether it’s for playtime, bedtime, or anything in between!

My Qualifications

-I hold two formal qualifications in childcare, including a recent PGCE, which I completed after finishing my degree. I’m also proud to have achieved all of my A Levels and GCSEs, providing me with a strong academic background to support children’s learning.

My Availability

I’m currently available for babysitting on Fridays evenings, weekends and also any half terms :)
