About Me
Hello! My name is Teighan and I am based in the Glasgow area.
I would describe myself as a people person who is passionate about caring for others. I am enthusiastic and fun, whilst also understanding the importance of safety and responsibility when looking after children. I have spent the previous 6 years working in a variety of childcare settings and nannying caring for children 0-10.I enjoy exploring the world outdoors and involving the children in life experience activities such as cooking. I am keen to provide experiences for children relating to their individual interests to keep them engrossed and involved in their own learning.
My Experience
I have the experience and skills needed to look after groups of children whilst providing experiences indoors and outdoors. I continuously use the reflective practice tool to enable me to work to the highest possible standard.
My Qualifications
I hold my SCQF level 7 social services (children and young people)
I have upto date first aid trainning and also emergency paediatric first aid.
I also hold my food and hygiene certificate.
I’m currently a member with the SSSC, and hold a PVG membership.
My Availability
I am very flexible but would require appropriate notice. I have a current UK driver’s license.
