About Me
My name is Jon and I live in Hessle. I am a father of teenage children and I understand the struggles that some children may have within the education system. I am looking to tutor children in KS1, KS2 and EYFS. I have had over 12 years experience within a school environment and I am also experienced at helping children with various special needs including Autism. I am looking to help children achieve their full potential in these difficult times. I have an up to date Enhanced DBS certificate. References available on request, if required.
My Experience
I have worked as a Teaching Assistant, in a variety of settings (Primary, Academies, Independent and Special Schools, College) both as a classroom TA/1-1 TA and LSA assisting children, young people and young adults with SENs - such as Autism (including Asperger's)and , Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, MLD etc. I also have 21 years experience of supporting my own own child with his autism. Previously, I also worked as a chef for 25 years.
