Hello, I’m Katie Henderson, a 22-year-old qualified nursery practitioner. I am currently working towards being a primary teacher and finishing off my degree.. I have always had a natural inclination to care for children, and it's a role I've embraced with joy. I have had experience working as Au pair for a well off family in Spain looking after a nine-year-old girl where I was there from 8 am till 10 pm at night doing school runs, making dinners and just general care and looking after her. Being around children and taking care of them is something I truly cherish. It's a rewarding experience that constantly teaches me something new. Nannying has always been a career path I've aspired to pursue, as I've heard wonderful stories and opportunities of working closely with families and caring for children. I am a kind, gentle, and compassionate individual, and I pride myself on being approachable and empathetic towards others. My Experience
I have had the incredible opportunity to work in a nursery for three years, which has nurtured my passion for childcare. My time spent in the nursery environment allowed me to develop a deep understanding of child development and fostered my love for caring for children. During this period, I had the privilege of working with children of various ages, from infants to toddlers, and I cherished every moment of it.
In addition to my nursery experience, I have also gained practical experience through working as a au pair for a 9 year old girl for two months in Spain and I loved every moment of it. This hands-on role has given me valuable insights into the unique needs and dynamics of individual families. Furthermore, I have had the pleasure of traveling to babysit my sister's children during vacations, which provided me with an opportunity to adapt my caregiving skills to different environments.
