About Me
Hi I'm Sadie, I am a local childminder in the village of Durrington, Wiltshire. July 2023, I was graded as Outstanding by Ofsted.
My aim at Little Bumblebees is to provide a warm, safe and nurturing environment- a happy alternative to home. My minding children will feel safe and have a sense of belonging within my home. I will follow the child's lead and work closely with parents, providing a holistic child centred care that babies and children need and thrive from.
My Experience
I have 17 years of childcare experience in the Early Years sector, I am very passionate about providing children the the best opportunities and learning through play.
I have attended many training conferences and courses throughout the years. My main achievement attending high level safeguarding conferences in London with our early Years representatives of the UK.
I have also been very fortunate to attend a conference in London hosted by the Pikler approach- Respectful care with infants and children. This is an approach that I feel very passionate about- a gentle way of parenting plus also letting infants have freedom of movement.
We will be exploring our local community such as accessing our local library, parks and local groups, giving children the opportunity to socialise with other children.
My Qualifications
