About Me
Hey, I’m Zera. I’m a calm and patient person, with a genuine passion for working with children and young people aged 4–16.
I’d describe my approach as creating a safe, relaxed and unhurried space. I like creating an indirect space where children feel free to ask questions, explore who they are, and make sense of the world around them.
I’m patient and understanding by nature, and I believe that children deserve a space where they are reassured and validated. I truly believe children deserve to feel loved and valued at all times, even if it is through basic care. I would always stick by your family morals.
I’ve been working with children for five to six years, including nannying and, more recently, mentoring young people in secondary schools.
I also have an enhanced dbs. I’m a mental health first aider. But do not have a first aid certificate but plan to very soon.
My Experience
I have been working with children and young people for five to six years across a range of settings, from one year olds through to teenagers.
My experience is based on long-term nannying, ad hoc and overnight care. I took some time out to travel and study. I am looking to get back into childcare along side my studies and work.
Currently looking for ad hoc but consistent work.
My Qualifications
I hold a BA Hons in Education Studies, CPD Level 3 Diploma in Youth Work, CPCAB Level 2 and Level 3 in Counselling Studies, Mental Health First Aid, childcare and safeguarding qualifications, and an Enhanced DBS.

Tuesday - Fridays any time
My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)
As I am just looking for extra income we can discuss this (dependent on work load, number of children etc.)

Both my self and my husband felt at ease when we met Zera. she came first to get to know us before the date that we needed her and another day she came to spend some time with children without us around. She got to the children's level and interacted and played with them. My children have never been left with anyone so i was keen to find the right person to stay with them for 2 nights as we had a wedding. Zera bought her own activities to do with the children my Son is usually the one that takes time to get on with adult and he was fine with Zera, She always got back to me when contacted and was punctual or let you know if there was changes. My DD loves her and keeps saying ZeZa as she calls her is coming everyday. The kids beds was done when we got back and the kichen was tidy and the children didn't even got up to hung us or anything they were really comfortable with Zera.
