About Me
Hello, and welcome to my childcare setting. I am an Ofsted-registered childminder offering a warm, safe, and nurturing home-from-home environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.
My home includes a garden space, giving children plenty of opportunities to learn through play and explore a variety of fun, stimulating activities both indoors and outdoors. I believe strongly in hands-on learning, creativity, and giving children the freedom to discover the world around them.
As part of our weekly routine, we enjoy visits to the local park to support physical development and wellbeing, as well as trips to the local library to encourage early literacy and a love of books.
I am a qualified Early Years Practitioner with strong knowledge of the EYFS framework. I hold a current DBS check and Paediatric First Aid certificate, ensuring a safe and professional environment for every child in my care.
My aim is to provide a caring, engaging, and inclusive setting where children feel happy, confident, and excited to learn each day
My Experience
I have over 10 years of experience working in childcare, and my background is wonderfully diverse. I have worked across a range of settings including preschools, day nurseries, hospitals, and primary schools. This breadth of experience has given me a deep understanding of children’s development and the ability to support children with different needs, personalities, and learning styles. It also allows me to bring a rich variety of skills, ideas, and approaches into my childminding practice.

My Availability
Flexibility is key to my practice in order to provide the best care to parents and children. My working hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5.30. However, discussions are welcome to accommodate individual needs.
My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
Daily rate £60

Zuhurah looked after my son for a whole year from age 1 into 2. She is absolutely amazing with him, she takes such good care of him and he loved being with her 5 days a week. I couldn't have asked for anyone better to leave my son with. Zuhurah would text me daily updates regarding how he has been in the day whenever I asked. She's always so informative and so supportive when it comes to giving advice to a first time mum. My son always had a great time with her, attending playgroups, going to the park/walks. I definitely recommend having Zuhurah as a childminder.
