About Me
I am a university student at Queens University, Belfast. I have plenty of experience in child-minding, as I have 4 nephews between the ages of 5-13. One of my nephews has lived with me from he was born so I have plenty of new born experience.
I enjoy cooking and the outdoors; regularly taking my nephews for walks and to the park.
My Experience
I babysit my nephews regularly for my sister who is an essential worker. The three children are 5, 9 and 13. I would help the two eldest children with their homework and reading. The youngest of the three children is autistic whilst the oldest has tourette/tic disorder. I regularly check that the children receive their medication on time and are put to bed at their scheduled times.
One of my nephews has lived with me from he was born so I have experience with newborns - changing nappies, putting them to sleep, burping, to name but a few.
I enjoy singing my nephews to sleep if I'm taking care of them at night or telling them stories.
Im a SEN classroom assistant currently, working with children with ASD and those with complex needs. I am also a qualified support worker, previously working with adults with disabilities such as autism.

Amy was an absolute delight! Very open and friendly and my daughter took to her very quickly.
Amy is a sleep whisperer as my usually difficult to fall asleep daughter, went out like a light for her. Can’t praise her highly enough and look forward to using her again in the future.
