This is a key role within the household, combining attentive after-school childcare with the proactive day-to-day management of a well-run home. We are ideally looking for someone seeking a substantial part-time role (c. 30–35 hours per week), who takes pride in both childcare and maintaining an organised, calm household environment.

My Requirements
Role structure:
Live-out, Monday to Friday
Approximately 30–35 hours per week, with core hours centred around the after-school period
Start date: August 2026
Blended role: childcare and full household support
Core responsibilities:
Childcare
School collection and structured after-school care for two children (ages 4 and 6)
Preparing healthy, home-style meals
Supporting homework and encouraging creativity and independence
Maintaining a calm, consistent routine with clear boundaries
Household management
Full responsibility for maintaining a clean, well-organised home (as the sole cleaner)
Children’s laundry, bedding, and wardrobe organisation
Ironing and general housekeeping
Proactive management of household tasks across the week (e.g. planning, organisation, light errands)

Is looking for a stable, longer-hours position rather than a short after-school-only role
Holds a full UK driving licence with a clean record
Is organised, proactive, and takes genuine ownership of their work
Communicates clearly and works in close partnership with parents
Brings warmth and positivity, while maintaining structure and consistency for the children
Package:
£30,000 – £40,000 gross per annum (depending on experience and agreed hours)
