Victoria
Nanny in City Of Westminster
My Summary
About Me
My name is Victoria and I have commendable experience in nannying and babysitting.
My Experience
Double Pfizer Vaccinated with Covid Pass
I have just completed a cookery qualification at the renowned Leith’s School of Food and Wine.
I have commendable skills and knowledge in childcare.
I regularly complete childcare courses outside of my work. In February this year, I completed a CACHE Child Neuroscience at the London School of Childcare Studies. This was an intensive course that greatly improved my knowledge of child neuroscience, required written coursework that was assessed and hours of independent study of weekly lectures. I received a certificate of qualification and excellent results.
I have worked for a family in March 2018 - June 2019 where I nannied a five year old. I supervised him during bath times, meals, homework, playtimes, taking him to the park and nursery, doing arts and crafts and reading. My time looking after him a wonderful opportunity to build on my experience working with young children.
Since October last year, I have minded and tutored a thirteen year old boy during the lockdown. Although quite exceptional circumstances with regards to the Pandemic, this time elevated my love for nannying. I had sole charge during where I planned very fun and enriching activities and helped with homework and tutoring. The child's grades in History and English have greatly improved and he has recently rediscovered his passion for acting that I have encouraged him to pursue. I have exceptional references from the family.
In May, I nannied three children (two twins aged 8 and a thirteen year old) for an American family who were temporarily staying in London for a few weeks. I also had sole charge during this time and thoroughly enjoyed my time with them.
Last summer, I worked for a family with three children (7, 8 and 10).
Before I went into nannying, I sat my exams at Bradfield College a boarding school situated in Berkshire countryside. In my final year, I served as a mentor in the College's Peer Mentor Programme which allowed me to support my peers and make a difference to the lives of my fellow students. I have previously volunteered for Save the Children, one of my favourite charities that improve the lives of children through better education, health care, and economic opportunities. Additionally I have volunteered for the Children's Book Project, a charitable organisation that won a Queens Award in 2020. I was responsible for preparing and welcoming each class group, reading aloud a short story, and supporting groups of children to browse and select a book to take home. I believe every child should have the right to read and I will also be taking part in the book sorting project that donates books to children in need. My time with this organisation was a fantastic opportunity to explore my love of reading and storytelling to children as well as my passion for charitable work.
When my exams were over, I worked a summer camp in America where I worked as a Counselor to children of a variety of ages (from as early as five to fifteen years old). I aided and assisted in the programmes that the camp had to offer. These included water sports, arts and crafts, drama and cooking. My experience working at this camp was a perfect opportunity to strengthen my leadership skills, resilience, initiative and respond in any situation, particularly ones that were challenging.
I thoroughly enjoy learning about the way young minds work. My attitude is firm but fair, ensuring that the child's voice is heard whilst responding to the needs of the parent. I believe that children should be free to cultivate their personalities and I encourage them to engage with their interests and goals, however creative they may be!
I am positive, friendly, flexible, energetic and I love working with children.
I look forward to meeting you and your family.

Victoria was absolutely amazing!
I am a single dad with 3 kids (12, 8 and 8 yo) living in the US but needed to come to London for work. her experience in education and working with kids was very appealing to me.
she took care of my kids daily for two weeks, from 9am till 9pm. She served them food , took them out for walks in the park, visit museums, helped them with homework and was just there for everything they needed.
I was worried about leaving my kids for so many hours but after meeting victoria and seeing how much my kids loved her company, I was able to focus on my work needs knowing my kids are in good hands.
We got back home 4 weeks ago and my kids keep talking about her! We miss you Victoria.
