About Me

My name is Victoria and I have commendable experience in nannying and babysitting.

My Experience

I have worked as a nanny in private households for many years in central London for children from as early as three up to late adolescence. I bring a nurturing, kind and empathetic approach to the children in my care and I am educated, adaptable, trustworthy, reliable and flexible with exceptional rapport and experience working with children. Working with children of different ages has given me a dynamism and a firm knowledge and understanding of the different learning curves in children and their milestones. I am quick to adapt to the environment that I work in and I enjoy working closely with my employers to provide the best care for their children and in partnership with them to maintain strong communication. I am highly organised and understand the importance of helping families with small or large tasks and projects. I am knowledgeable about managing school schedules, extracurricular activities and entertainment to achieve optimal balance while being compassionate and caring with all children.

Since 2023, I have worked as an Early Years Educator, Teaching Partner and Higher Level Teaching Assistant across a plethora of London primary independent and state schools. My experience in a multitude of different years groups has enabled me to understand the different ways in which children learn and to adapt my my teaching style where necessary. My roles and responsibilities include planning, teaching and covering core subjects liaising with Subject Leads to provide tailored individualised support, providing support for SEN children liaising with SENCO, subject leads, live marking childrens books and providing interventions where necessary, leading and planning interventions on a 1:1 and group basis including providing support in Phonics, Fluency Reading Number Bonds reassessing children every 3-6 weeks to faciliate back into classroom learning where appropriate, documenting intervention data to emphasise childrens learning progress and highlight any areas of improvement, attending weekly staff training meetings to enhance knowledge of safeguarding and child protection whilst enhancing knowledge of learning and SEN support, liaising with Governors, SENCO, Subject Leads and Occupational Therapist to enhance the school and provide improvement and adhere to individualised support plans, providing tutoring 3x weekly in the afternoons chaperoning children on trips including day trips and providing overnight and wraparound care for the annual Year 3 and Year 6 residential, providing and adminstering First-Aid aid and adhering to individual support plans including feeding plans such as enteral feeding and managing specific medication such as ashthma pumps, individual medication, provided and knowledgeable of SAT preparation including being a Reader for a child sitting SPAG paper, assisted with Playground and Lunchtime duties, leading the school council and eco-committee and art club including creative art projects and art resources inputting positive changes to the learning environment.

From 2018-2023, I have worked as an after-school, full-time and holiday nanny with sole charge and tag teaming for lovely families across London. I collected children from school, cooked nutritious meals, chaperoned children to clubs and extra-curricular activities and planned educational and fun activities, dog walking, planning playdates and supervising with homework, assisted with bath-times and bedtimes to ensure a general smooth running of the house and always keeping parents up-to-date throughout.

Outside of my work, I obtained childcare certificates from EduCare and The London School of Childcare Studies of which included a CACHE Level 2 Child Neuroscience course which consisted of written examinations and lectures. This course was crucial in giving me a firm knowledge and understanding of children in their development and focused on the role of how the social brain develops, understanding self-regulation, co-regulation and its role, special educational needs and disabilities, types of stresses which impact on children from birth to seven years, adverse childhood experiences and the difference between the predominant behaviourist and alternative relation approaches and policies in behaviour management. I received qualifications from TES Childcare courses and further qualifications from the London School of Childcare Studies, including creating an effective language and communication environment, emotional transition and wellbeing and improving children’s learning through play. These courses have ignited my interest in child psychology and neuroscience.

I thoroughly enjoy learning about the way young minds work. My attitude is firm but fair, ensuring that the child's voice is heard whilst responding to your needs. I believe that children should be free to cultivate their personalities and I encourage them to engage with their interests and goals, however creative they may be!

I am positive, friendly, flexible, energetic and I love working with children.
I look forward to meeting you and your family.

Victoria was absolutely amazing!
I am a single dad with 3 kids (12, 8 and 8 yo) living in the US but needed to come to London for work. her experience in education and working with kids was very appealing to me.
she took care of my kids daily for two weeks, from 9am till 9pm. She served them food , took them out for walks in the park, visit museums, helped them with homework and was just there for everything they needed.
I was worried about leaving my kids for so many hours but after meeting victoria and seeing how much my kids loved her company, I was able to focus on my work needs knowing my kids are in good hands.

We got back home 4 weeks ago and my kids keep talking about her! We miss you Victoria.
