PART TIME LIVE OUT NANNY REQUIRED**
Hi
I'm looking for a nanny two days a week, Monday and Tuesday ideally from January 2026). We would even consider just one of those days being covered for the right person. During school holidays we’d require longer hours covering ideally.
I'm a married mother of 4 children. The kids are 8 and 9 years (girls) and 12 and 13 years (boys).
We really want someone who’s going to play with the kids (particularly the two girls)and just be an adult presence, make dinner, help with a bit of kids chores.
The kids get along really well. They are great kids. Polite, independent, helpful round the house and well behaved.
The younger two go to a primary school about 1.5 miles away from the house so would involve a school drop off/ pick up. The two older ones let themselves in and out of the house from secondary school.
We also have a 4 year old border collie who’s well trained, obedient and just lovely. Ideally we’d like someone to walk him when the kids are in school.
My husband and I are both doctors. I like to think we’re good, fair employers. But we are busy and just need someone to help us manage work and life.
My Requirements
We are looking for someone who can look after our children from January 2026 there is some flexibility with start date. As the school is a bit of a trek, we are looking for someone who can drive.
We want someone who is fluent in English, reliable, trustworthy and punctual. We have a strong work ethic and expect the same from our nanny. By that, I don't mean we're going to flog you to death, but we do need someone who won't let us down so we can go to work and do our jobs.
We are open to having someone who is new to nannying or just wanting a bit of childcare experience to fit around University/college.
We want someone who is active, fun and will keep the children busy as well as support them with homework after school. Most importantly we would like someone who is going to enjoy spending time with our children.

Holly has been with us for nearly 4 years working mostly full time with our expanding family. She is fantastic with the kids and was great to us as parents as well. She’s a child magnet and kids are just drawn to her sense of fun and energy. We could not have asked more from a nanny and would recommend her unreservedly.
Overall
Louise has been looking after our 11 month old boy since September 2012 and he is incredibly fond of her. They clearly get on very well and she interacts with him superbly. You can tell she has experience with children and knows how to look after him when he is poorly, playing up etc.
There were naturally a few teething issues initially, but louise is open to suggestions and takes everything on board, and we are very happy with her. We would be happy to keep her on longer term, but have to end her contract in March as I am pregnant again. We would recommend her for a nanny position and wish her luck in finding a nice family.
