Hello, my name is Kristyna and I am 25 years old from the Czech Republic. I have extensive working history in childcare. I have experience with children aged between four and seventeen years old. I am responsible, caring, kind, and fun, and I bring a deep understanding of children's wellbeing and safeguarding. I have been living in the UK since September 2020 and graduated from Northumbria University with a degree in Criminology and Sociology. I recently completed a Master's degree in Global Security and Borders at Queen's University Belfast.
My Experience
I have an extensive working history in childcare. It started just with my younger cousins, but as soon as I was old enough, I started babysitting kids as my job. I babysat an eight-year-old boy from France, while still living in Czechia, for one academic year. I worked as an au pair for three months over the summer of 2021 in a family with three children, aged four, six, and nine. In the summers of 2024 and 2025, I worked at an international summer school, where I cared for children from around the world, aged 9 to 17 years old. I have a strong understanding of safeguarding and children's wellbeing.
My Qualifications
I do not have any professional qualifications. However, I have solid experience, can provide references, and have completed several trainings for childare as part of my summer school jobs. I am responsible, punctual and can build good relationships with children of all ages. I do have a DBS check that I needed to obtain for the previous job.
My Availability
My availability will change weekly due to other commitments. Please get in touch, and we can discuss either occasional babysitting or set up a regular schedule.
